The Taum Sauk Section of the Ozark Trail is once again open from Taum Sauk Mountain to Johnsons Shut Ins State Park. This section was closed way back in 2006 due to the Ameren UE resourvoir breach. This section of the OT is one of the most interesting, beautiful, difficult and most traveled sections, loved by many.
