Please use extra caution when out on the trail, wear some safety orange
as hunting is allowed along most of the Ozark Trail. From my experience
the hunters who I've encountered along the trail have been nice, true
sportsmen, not the sort of poachers you hear about on the news.
Remember that hunting is an important part of our Missouri conservation
of wildlife and wild places. Enjoy the outdoors during this wonderful
season
